John 7:1-31

As the Gospel of John moves to the last six months before Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection, we see growing conflict with the Pharisees and Sadducees, confusion on the part of many people about Jesus’ identity and Jesus’ remarkable offer of clarity – those who are willing to do what the Father commands will know whether His teaching is of God or if He is simply speaking from Himself.  The Feast of Tabernacles is the setting for this milieu of opinion about the ministry of Jesus Christ.
